      <image:title>Home - Hello,</image:title>
<image:caption>My name is Malcolm and I’m a therapist based out of Edinburgh, Scotland. As I offer sessions online I can work with you wherever you may be based. I’m currently offering therapy sessions online on Wednesdays and Fridays. I specialise in working with young men (16-30) who have experienced or are experiencing technology addictions. This can include social media, phones in general, video games, and porn. My experience working with this group comes from many years of working as a therapist with young adults in the university sector and privately offering coaching and support on this concern. If you are stuggling with any form of technology addiction and would like support, then please get in touch and we can organise an initial meeting.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About Me - About me</image:title>
<image:caption>I’ve long maintained an interest and passion in mental health support and around 10 years ago made the choice to begin working in that field. I have found it deeply rewarding and fulfilling ever since. Since beginning my journey working in therapy I’ve worked in several organisations including charities, universities (Heriot Watt, Edinburgh), the civil service, as well as in private practice. I am deeply passionate about my work and the people I get to work with. Through my own experiences I can speak to the power of therapy, and believe I can offer that experience on to you.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About Therapy - How I Work:</image:title>
<image:caption>It is my belief that therapy can be useful at many different moments in a person’s life, for many different reasons. You might be going through a significant life change which is challenging you, you might be feeling uneasy or uncomfortable in your current place in life, you might still be struggling or reflecting on something that happened to you previously. No matter the reason, it can often be the case that talking things out with a therapist with no personal agenda or other knowledge of your life can be immensely helpful. My training at the University of Edinburgh focused on two approaches to offering therapy: Psychodynamic and Person-Centred. Psychodynamic focuses on the power of the unconscious mind, believing that most of our issues stem from unresolved issues in our mind that we have yet to unlock. Person-centred focuses more on the holistic approach of being present in the here and now, tapping in and exploring our emotions based more on how we feel in the current moment and using that as a jumping off point for discussion and discovery. My personal approach to therapy sits between these two, finding huge value in the exploration of the past, while also paying attention to how we are feeling in the present. At the core of these two approaches is the idea of relationship and that is what I offer in my therapy. This is safe, secure place to build communication, build understanding, and to build trust. In our work I believe that you are the expert in your own life, but it can help to have someone explore with you to open new doorways. We will go on this journey together.</image:caption>
